R.I.P. Mr. McDonald - click to hear

I'd like to post this song in honor of our dying van.  Some people might have this already.  It's and old one off the Oh No E.P.

minus the van

Our van was trying to talk to us and we didn't listen.  Strange noises need to be checked out. We broke down in Evanston, Wyoming.  Chad's Auto came to the rescue.  I think they thought we were from London, a total SLC Punk moment.

We had to miss 2 Minus the Bear shows because of it.  Very disappointing.  Here are some pictures.  Including the ridiculously huge assed u-haul we were forced to rent.

From Wyoming

Spent thanksgiving night in the ER with my wife and her infected finger. We watched John Hughes movies and laid in the hospital bed together. Then I jumped in the van to travel to SLC for a minus the bear show. Driving through Wyoming, sitting shotgun, wishing I was back in a hospital bed...

Here is my new blog, something for more than status updates.  Please check out older posts too.  I've posted pictures, lyrics and even a new recording.

Here's a pic from tour this past fall.

Bats in Austin

Nate, Davs, Christie and I waiting for millions of bats to emerge. They never came, but that's ok.

from Joshua Tree

It is so quiet. Extreme climates have silence in common. It feels like the bottom of the ocean might feel.

Glasshouse

Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Definitely hasn't always been a venue. Weird vibe. (Nate sitting in the Glasshouse in Pomona)

Sometimes my job is very hard. Sometimes my job hardly seems like a job. And when my job isn't either of those two, I will blog. I will write this down. I need to remember all this. I don't want to forget it. (picture of Joe and Nate in Iowa City, Iowa)
